1. The Promoter

The Promoter is: Paddy’s Prizes, Company Number: NI736986 and whose registered office is located at 3 Wellington Park, Malone, Belfast, BT9 6DJ, United Kingdom.

2. The Competition

2.1 – These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at www.paddysprizes.com.

2.2 – Any person (the Entrant) who enters a competition listed on this website must be over 18 years of age and a resident of the UK or Ireland.

2.3 – The Promoter may offer different formats to the competitions. Subject to clause 2.4, an entry fee is payable each time you enter.

2.4 – Every competition listed on this website, regardless of format, offers the Entrant a free entry route.

2.5 – By purchasing competition entries or entering competitions via the free entry route, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter, and you are bound by these terms and conditions.

3. Competition Entry

3.1 – All competitions will run from the competition opening date until the closing date specified on the website. These dates shall be referred to as the opening date and closing date.

3.2 – Only if strictly required, the Promoter reserves the right to change the opening and/or closing dates. If the Promoter does change either or both the opening date or the closing date of a competition, new dates will be displayed on the website.

3.3 – All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the specified closing time on the closing date. All competition entries received after the specified closing time on the closing date are automatically disqualified with no refunds given.

3.4 – All times and dates stated on the website for any competition are dates and times in London, England. No other date or time other than London, England will be stated or referenced.

3.5 – In the case there is a maximum number of entries for any competition, a maximum number will be displayed within the competition page on the website or within the website. The number of entries you can purchase may be limited if a maximum number of entries is displayed for any competition.

3.6 – Entrants may purchase or submit as many entries as they like, up to the maximum number of entries per person and/or until the maximum number of entries for the competition is reached. Any free entry submissions must be submitted one at a time. Bulk entries (including multiple entries sent together) will not be accepted and will count as one single entry.

3.7 – All Entrants (including Entrants submitting free entries) must register and open an account on this website prior to entering any of our competitions. Only one account per person is permitted. If any Entrant opens or tries to open multiple accounts using different email addresses, all accounts the Entrant has previously opened will be closed and all previous entries disqualified. As a result of opening multiple accounts, the Entrant will not be permitted to enter any of the Promoter’s future competitions.

3.8 – Once an account has been opened, to enter a competition:

(a) Go to the website and select a competition.

(b) Read how to enter for free and decide if you wish to enter via the paid or free entry route.

(c) Complete and submit the online entry form or follow the instructions to submit a free entry.

(d) If opting for a paid entry, purchase the required number of entries.

3.9 – All entries must be submitted in English. Entries in languages other than English will automatically be disqualified and no refund will be given.

3.10 – If you are using the free entry route, the Promoter will send confirmation to your account on this website to confirm that your entry has been received.

3.11 – Regardless of the cause, the Promoter will not be held responsible for competition entries that are incomplete, lost, or delayed. This includes, but not limited to, issues arising from technical malfunctions, equipment failure or failures related to networks, servers, satellites or computer hardware or software.

3.12 – You can enter a competition for free by complying with the following:

(a) Firstly, you must register an account on www.paddysprizes.com.

(b) Submit your entry via postage on a postcard to the Promoter at: 3 Wellington Park, Malone, Belfast, BT9 6DJ, United Kingdom.

(c) You must ensure your free entry includes the following information and all details must match those stated within your account (i) the name of the competition you wish to enter (ii) your full name, address, contact telephone number and email address.

3.13 – Rules for entering a competition for free. You agree and acknowledge that:

(a) Each free entry must be submitted and posted individually to the Promoter.

(b) Bulk entries sent in a single envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries, and any such bulk entries will be counted as one single entry only.

(c) Free entries must be received by the Promoter before the closing time and date of the individual competition as stated on the www.paddysprizes.com website. Entries submitted or received after the closing time and date will not be included in the specific draw. In the case that a postal entry is not received or received by the Promoter following the closing time and date of the draw, proof of postage does not guarantee entry into the draw.

(d) The Promoter will send confirmation to your account on this website to confirm that your entry has been received.

(e) If the number of entries surpasses any cap or limit set by the Promoter before your free entry is received by post, it will not be included in the draw.

(f) Hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be included in the draw.

(g) By submitting a free entry to any competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter, you are a resident of Ireland or the UK, you are over the age of 18 and that you accept all terms, conditions and policies as stated on this website.

3.14 – Free entry’s will be disqualified if:

(a) You submit an incomplete, incorrect or illegible entry for any free competition.

(b) You submit multiple entries which exceed the maximum limit set by the Promoter for paid entries of the same competition.

(c) You are in breach of any term and/or condition as stated within these terms and conditions.

4. Entry Eligibility – Competitions

4.1 – The competition is only open to Entrants who are over the age of 18 years and a resident of Ireland or the UK.

4.2 – The Promoter will not accept any competition entries that are either automatically generated by computer / electrical device or deemed to be incomplete.

4.3 – By entering any competition on this website, you confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and are entitled to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of identification / confirmation of Ireland or UK residency and age at any stage. Failure to provide such proofs of identification or any other information reasonably requested by the Promoter within 14 days of request, will result in instant disqualification from the competition and you will forfeit any winning prize.

4.4 – The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant whose behaviour is deemed to be contrary to the spirit or intended fairness of the competition. This includes, but not limited to any instances of abusive, aggressive or inappropriate conduct towards the Promoter, its employees or any individuals associated with the competition or this website.

4.5 – All entries submitted by an Entrant will be declared void, without refund, and the Entrant barred from participating in any future competitions, if they are found to have engaged in any of the following:

(a) Any attempt of fraud.

(b) Any fraudulent misrepresentation or concealment.

(c) Any alteration or unauthorised use of any part of this website’s code.

(d) Any attempt of hacking or interfering with the operation of this website.

(e) Any form of abusive, aggressive or inappropriate conduct towards the Promoter, its employees or any individuals associated with the competition or this website.

4.6 – Competition entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to the following situations:

(a) You are not the winner of a competition.

(b) You discover that you have entered the wrong competition or a competition by mistake.

(c) You discover after entering a competition that you are not eligible to participate in the competition.

(d) You discover after entering a competition that you are not eligible to claim a prize.

(e) Your eligibility criteria changed after you purchased an entry which resulted in you no longer meeting the requirements.

(f) You are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter for any reason.

4.7 – The Promoter does not allow the following individuals or groups to enter a competition or prize draw on this website:

(a) Employees of the Promoter.

(b) Employees of any agent or supplier to the Promoter.

(c) Immediate family members of the Promoter.

(d) Immediate family members of any employee of the Promoter.

5. How a Competition Winner is Chosen

5.1 – The Promoter may use several different methods to choose a competition winner, and this will be determined by the format of the competition:

5.1.1 – Main Draw: All Entrants who correctly submit either a paid or free entry prior to the closing time and date will be entered into the prize draw for which they are entering, with the ultimate competition winner selected at random. The random draw will be conducted as soon as reasonably practicable and will take place no later than seven (7) days following the competition closing date. For Entrants who participate via the free entry route and satisfy the entry requirements, the Promoter will assign an entry number using a random number generator.

5.1.2 – Auto Draws: The Promoter may utilise an automated drawing system (such as Google random number generator) to determine the winner(s) of the Main Draw and any Instant Win prizes. For the Main Draw, the system will be programmed to randomly select a winner from all valid entries either upon the competition closing date being reached or once all available entries (including any allocated free entries) have been issued. For Instant Wins, the Promoter will allocate all instant wins entries via an automated system that will automatically issue competition tickets or numbers and award the corresponding prize if an Entrant’s assigned entry number matches a designated instant win number.

5.1.3 – Instant Wins: Upon completion and payment of an entry or the receipt of a free entry who prior to the closing time and date, all Entrants who meet the entry requirements will be randomly assigned an instant win entry number. If an assigned entry number matches an instant win number as published on the website, the Entrant will be awarded the corresponding prize. For Entrants who participate via the free entry route and satisfy the entry requirements, the Promoter will assign an entry number using a random number generator.

5.2 – All Entrants will have their names and competition entry numbers included on an entry list which the Promoter may published on this website. Names of competition winners may also be posted on this website to indicate that a prize or an instant win has been won. If you do not wish to have your name posted on this website as an Entrant or winner, you must contact the Promoter via email after you have completed your entry, and at least 72 hours before a live competition draw takes place. 5.3 – For any further assistance with entering a competition or removing your details from the entry or winners lists, contact Paddy’s Prizes at service@paddysprizes.com.

6. Winners

6.1 – If you are selected as a winner, you may be required to provide specific documents to establish your identity for due diligence purposes in line with AML regulations. Your personal data may be shared with Moorwand Ltd, our payment service provider, to facilitate the prize payment and comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML) obligations.

6.2 – The decision of the Promoter to award a winner is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into following a decision to award a winner.

6.3 – The Promoter will contact the winner directly and as soon as practicable after the competition prize has been drawn. The Promoter will contact the winner either via the telephone or email address provided at the time of the purchasing or submitting a free entry for the competition.

6.4 – In the case that a competition winner cannot be contacted, is not available or has not claimed a prize within 14 of days of the draw date, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize or offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant who will be selected from the correct entries that were received prior to the closing date.

6.5 – The Promoter will publish or make available information to confirm that a valid prize draw has taken place. To meet this obligation, the Promoter will either publish the surname and town and/or county of major prize winners on the website or provide this information to anyone who sends a written request to the Promoter within 30 days of the competition’s closing date.

6.6 – In the case that you are a competition prize winner and object to your surname, town, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at 3 Wellington Park, Malone, Belfast, BT9 6DJ, United Kingdom, prior to the competition closing date. In certain circumstances, the Promoter may still be required to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority, the HMRC or other regulators if required.

7. Prizes

7.1 – All competition prizes are subject to availability.

7.2 – The prize for each competition is described on this website. Details of competition prizes are described to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge, information and belief, and all details are correct at the time of the competition launch.

7.3 – The Promoter makes no representations and offers no warranties regarding any competition prize, including its value, condition, or any other related information provided on the website. Furthermore, the Promoter does not warrant that any information on the website is accurate, complete, or up to date.

7.4 – The Promoter reserves the right to change, update and/or substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s sole discretion. If a prize or any of the prize details are changed, the Promoter will make all reasonable effort to update the information on the website as soon as practicable.

7.5 – Competition prizes may be supplied or delivered by a third-party supplier. Details of a third-party supplier may not be provided on the website. Third-party suppliers are instructed by the Promoter and at the discretion of the Promoter.

7.6 – For certain competitions, the Promoter may offer an alternative cash prize. Where such an alternative cash prize is available, the cash amount will be clearly stated within the prize description on this website. In such circumstances, it is therefore the winner’s choice whether to accept the stated competition prize or the alternative cash prize. The Promoter also reserves the

right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the competition prize with a cash alternative in the following circumstances: (i) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control make it necessary to do so (ii) where the original prize becomes unavailable for any reason. The Promoter makes no claim that an alternative cash prize will in any way equal the retail or resale value of the competition prize.

7.7 – Under no circumstance will any competition prize or cash alternative prize be negotiable or transferable to another prize.

7.8 – Under no circumstance will any competition prize or cash alternative prize be negotiable or transferable to person other than the prize winner.

8. Motor Vehicle Prizes

8.1 – Any vehicle offered by the Promoter is awarded in an ‘as is’ condition. Unless otherwise stated, the Promoter will ensure that the vehicle has a valid MOT/ NCT (if it is legally required at the time of award). If required, the winner is solely responsible for obtaining and using appropriate safety equipment and clothing while operating the vehicle.

8.2 – Road tax and/or insurance is not included with any vehicle. It is the sole responsibility of the prize winner to obtain road tax and adequate insurance before using the vehicle on any public or private road.

8.3 – Any vehicle offered as a competition prize is offered without any warranty unless it is clearly stated otherwise, this includes any warranties of merchantability, safety or vehicle fitness.

8.4 – Once the vehicle has been delivered or collected, the Promoter neither accepts or bears any further responsibility for the vehicle or for any costs, repair costs, faults, safety points or issues relating to the vehicle. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to have the vehicle immediately checked by a qualified motor mechanic upon delivery or collection to guarantee the vehicle is safe to drive and complies with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the ownership, use and operation of the vehicle.

9. Claiming a Prize

9.1 – All competition prize winners must personally claim any prize which has been awarded. The Prize may not be claimed by a third-party on an Entrants behalf. Details of how the Prize will be delivered to you (or made available for collection) will be clearly published on this website.

9.2 – Any cash prize or alternative cash prize will be transferred directly to the winners nominated bank account. The winner must provide evidence that it is the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account. Failure to do so within 14 days will result in disqualification from the competition and the winner will forfeit the prize. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize or offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant who will be selected from the correct entries that were received prior to the closing date.

9.3 – If you are the winner of any competition, cash alternative or cash prize over the value of £1,000, you are required by the Promoter to provide proof of identity prior to any prize or sum of cash equal or above the sum of £1,000 being paid / transferred, or prior to the delivery / transfer of ownership of a prize over £1,000 being made to you. Accepted forms of identification are an Irish or UK government issued drivers licence, passport or national identification card. You must provide the

required information and forms of identification prior to any prize, cash alternative or cash prize over the value of £1,000 being paid / awarded by the Promoter. All requested information and forms of identification must be received by the Promoter within 14 days of request. Any information and/or identification received after 14 days of the original request date by the Promoter will be deemed as a failure to provide information and/or identification with the prize, cash alternative or cash prize deemed to be forfeited, and the prize winner will be disqualified from the competition. Please Note: The request for information and identification of all winners of prizes, cash alternatives or cash prizes over £1,000 is a requirement of the Promoter’s Anti Money Laundering policies and is a requirement of paying out any prize, cash alternative or cash prize over £1,000.

9.4 – If an Entrants personal details, including contact information changes at any time, Entrants should update such information within the Entrants website account / wallet on this site, or by notifying the Promoter as soon as possible. Notifications by email should be sent to the Promoter at service@paddysprizes.com. Email notifications must include details of the competition you have entered, your name, address, age, any old details which the Promoter can identify you, and all new details. If an Entrants details change within 5 days of the closing date of any competition which an Entrant has entered, the Promoter will use the Entrants old details if it needs to try to contact you for any reason including winning a competition.

9.5 – The Promoter does not accept any responsibility and is not liable to pay any compensation if you fail to produce identification when requested, claim a prize within 14 days of notification or you do not wish to accept a prize.

10. Payments of Cash Prizes

10.1 – In the case that a winner is awarded a cash prize or requests a cash alternative, the Promoter will attempt to make a payment for the full amount of the cash prize or cash alternative to the winners nominated bank account within 72 hours of the Promoter receiving a request.

10.2 – In the case that an Entrant requests a withdrawal of funds from the Entrants website account / wallet on this site, the Promoter will attempt to make a payment to the Entrants nominated bank account within 72 hours of the Promoter receiving a request.

11. Site-Credits

11.1 – Where a prize is offered and won as site-credit, the credit is to be used on this website only.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 – To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be liable to compensate the winner or accept any responsibility for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death arising from accepting the prize or the delivery of a prize, unless caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, distributors, or their employees. This includes, without limitation, any loss, damage, injury or death arising directly or indirectly from the use, misuse, or condition of the prize.

12.2 – By accepting a prize, the winner acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter shall bear no responsibility or liability for any fault, malfunction, breakdown, damage, defect, or failure of a prize, whether occurring before, during, or after delivery or use.

12.3 – The Promoter makes no representation, warranty, or undertaking of any kind, expressed or implied, in relation to any prize. Under no circumstances shall the Promoter be deemed to provide or arrange any form of warranty, guarantee, or insurance in respect of any prize.

12.4 – It is the sole responsibility of the winner of a prize to obtain, arrange, and/or purchase any applicable warranty and/or insurance cover for the prize. The Promoter shall have no liability in respect of any failure by the winner to do so.

12.5 – By accepting a prize, the Entrant irrevocably waives and discharges the Promoter from any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, or losses whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the use or possession of a prize.

13. Data Protection, Promotions & Publicity

13.1 – By entering a competition, you consent to the Promoter, its agents and suppliers to holding and using any personal information you provide for the purpose of administering the competition, or for any purpose outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which all information can be accessed on the website, terms and conditions, privacy and cookie policies.

13.2 – If you are the winner of a competition, you agree with the Promoter that it may use your name, image, the town and county where you reside as a public announcement that you are the winner of a competition. You also agree to participate in any reasonable publicity activity organised or used by the Promoter to promote the Promoter, its website and/or competitions.

13.3 – If you do not wish to participate in any publicity, you must notify the Promoter prior to the closing date of a competition. This will not affect your chances of winning the Prize. If you do not agree to participate in any publicity, the Promoter may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority, the HMRC, the police or other regulators as required. This is a legal requirement that the Promoter must comply with and/or to prove that the competition has been properly administered and a prize correctly and legally awarded.

13.4 – If you are the winner of any competition, cash alternative or cash prize over the value of £1,000, you are required to provide personal information and proof of your identity (drivers licence, passport or national identification card) to claim the prize and/or for the transfer of ownership of the prize to you. You may also refuse to present your personal information, but by doing so, you will prevent the prize being transferred to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition and forfeit the prize and will not be entitled to any refund of your entry fee. In such cases, the Promoter reserves the right to retain the prize or offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant which will be selected from the entries that were received before the closing date.

13.5 – Under data protection laws, you have the right to request that the Promoter stops contacting you and removes your details from their database. If you make this request, the Promoter will not be able to contact you if you win, you will be immediately withdrawn from all entered competition and all future competitions and will not be entitled to a refund of any entry fee. If you do not want your personal details to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, please email the Promoter at service@paddysprizes.com before the closing date of the competition you have entered. You are also entitled to request further details about how your personal information is to be used.

13.6 – All competition Entrants and persons registering for an account on this website, agree and acknowledge that personal data may be shared with our partners and suppliers to facilitate prize draw payments and/or the ordering or delivery or prizes. In some circumstances, the sharing of personal data may be with partners and suppliers which are located or have servers or data retention facilities outside of the Ireland or UK.

14. Anti-Money Laundering

14.1 – In addition to complying with prize competition conditions set by The Gambling Act 2005 and other such regulations, the Promoter adheres to prevent its competitions and business from being used for the purposes of money laundering, financial terrorism or any other criminal activity.

14.2 – The Promoter is dedicated to preventing money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism whilst reducing all reputational, legal, and regulatory risks. Additionally, it is committed to a broader social responsibility by ensuring that its systems are not used for criminal activities.

14.3 – In order to adhere to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and requirements, the Promoter shall: (i) Only register a single account in the name of a particular Entrant (ii) Not register an Entrant who is under 18 years of age (iii) Take reasonable steps to establish the identity of any Entrant for whom it is proposed to provide its service (iv) Retain identification and transactional documentation for any Entrant who is the winner of any competition, cash alternative or cash prize over the value of £1,000 (v) Transfer payments of winnings or refunds to the same bank account from where the funds originated (vi) Keep a secure online list of all registered Entrants (vii) Provide training to all staff so that they are aware of responsibilities and the procedures in respect to monitoring an Entrant’s activity and how to keep records and report any suspicious activity or transaction to the correct authorities (viii) Ensure that the Promoter’s Anti-Money Laundering policy is reviewed and maintained regularly.

15. General Information

15.1 – These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you (the Entrant) and the Promoter.

15.2 – In the case of any future claim or dispute, the Promoter encourages you to print a copy of these terms and conditions and keep them for your records.

15.3 – Competitions offered on this website are in no way affiliated, endorsed, administered by, or sponsored in any way by any social media platform. By entering competitions offered by the Promoter, all Entrants agree that no social media platform has any liability and is in no way responsible for the administration or promotion of any competition.

15.4 – There is no minimum entry requirement, and the Promoter will not void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition due to insufficient entries, however the Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel, or modify the prize and/or competition if the Promoter deems such a decision is necessary and may do so without explanation.

15.5 – If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to exclude you from participating in any current or future competition without explanation.

15.6 – The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time and without explanation or notice. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on this website.

15.7 – These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. In the event of any dispute arising in relation of these terms and conditions, or to our website or the provision of any services offered by the Promoter, the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over such dispute although the Promoter retains the right to bring proceedings against you for any breach of these terms and conditions in your country of residence or other relevant jurisdictions.
